Häme recreational area association

The Kanta-Häme region offers many opportunities for versatile outdoor activities: 785 lakes, peaceful countryside, history since the Stone Age and the unique Häme lake highlands offer something for everyone. The over 250 km long Ilves (lynx) trail network is suitable for both day hikes and multi-day trekking just an hour away from Helsinki.

The Häme recreation area association helps people interested in nature tourism and exercise to find well-being in nature. The purpose of the association is to secure and develop recreational opportunities for the region’s population and the people moving here, as well as preserve and nurture the uniqueness of the nature and landscape of the region.

The Häme recreation area association presents Kanta-Häme area’s versatile outdoor recreation opportunities at Nouxfest. The association has a booth in the exhibition area, and there will also be short presentations on the stage program about the wonderful excursion destinations of the recreation area associations.
