What is Nouxfest?
Nouxfest is a fantastic new outdoor festival in Nuuksio, a wilderness area and national park just 30min from Helsinki, on the second weekend of August. The base camp for the festival is the event field of Haltia, the Finnish Nature Center. The activities are spread over the nearby forests, trails, lakes and crags.
The program contains workshops, presentations, courses, product demos and trials of various outdoor activities. In the evenings we relax together around campfires watching outdoor movies and listening to live music and interesting performers. The opening day includes a high-profile discussion forum on nature and sports hosted by Metsähallitus, Finland’s national park authority.
