Nemo Equipment

NEMO Equipment, imported by OAC, manufactures technical, high-quality camping equipment. Its selections include e.g. light hiking tents, sleeping bags and pads.

NEMO Equipment is an internationally known and awarded company, which was founded in 2002 in the USA. It designs and makes camping products, from which everyone can find the equipment best suited for their own use. Sleeping pads and sleeping bags designed especially for winter camping are particularly well suited to Finnish conditions, as their thermal values, lightness and functionality are top class.

In the manufacturing of NEMO’s products, sustainable development has been taken into account, e.g. in the use of recycled materials and in energy-efficient production processes. Priority is given to materials with lower carbon dioxide emissions, such as recycled polyester.

In the design of NEMO’s products, simple patterns are preferred, and every detail, from the seams to the selection of parts, is carefully considered so that the products can be easily repaired or replaced. NEMO is committed to halving its carbon footprint by 2030 and strives to create products that consume fewer resources, produce less waste and last longer. NEMO prioritizes the quality, repairability and recyclability of its products so that the equipment does not end up in a landfill.

At Nouxfest, you can get to know NEMO Equipment’s products at the OAC stand and in the tent village, where a few test tents will also be used for accommodation.
